The helicopter took off from Kunshan City Terminal and landed smoothly at Pudong Xingye Flight Base after about half an hour's flight, greatly shortening the commuting time and making public travel more convenient. This marked the successful opening of low-altitude air passenger routes in the Shanghai-Suzhou Yangtze River Delta region.
It is estimated that although it was previously necessary to take 4.5 hours to catch domestic flights from Kunshan to Pudong International Airport and 5.5 hours for international flights, the opening of low-altitude air passenger routes has been greatly shortened to only 90 minutes in advance for domestic flights and 120 minutes for international flights. It is predicted that this route can carry 20,000-30,000 passengers per year, and the operational economic revenue will exceed RMB10 million.
