Shanghai Municipal People's Government and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation signed a framework agreement on deepening strategic cooperation in Shanghai on July 12th. Chen Jining, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, and Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, met with Chen Mingbo, Chairman of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Zhang Zhongyang, General Manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation is the leading force in China's aerospace science and technology industry, while Shanghai is an important city in the aerospace industry. According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on deepening the construction of the "five centers", promoting the group's deep integration into Shanghai's development, and jointly promoting cooperation in the fields of high-quality development of commercial aerospace, building national strategic scientific and technological forces, creating aerospace talent highlands, and transforming scientific and technological achievements.
On behalf of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Chen Jining and Gong Zheng thanked China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation for its long-term contribution to Shanghai's development and scientific and technological progress.
