Shanghai's Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Job Fair in 2024 helped foster high-quality and full employment

 On June 1st, the "100 Days Sprint" Employment Promotion Action and the Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Job Fair were held at Shanghai Second Polytechnic University. Xie Dong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government, attended the event and launched the "100 Days Sprint" Action.

 

This recruitment event actively encouraged the two-way matching of college graduates and Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original enterprises. At the site, Zhang Hongtao, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, introduced the plan of the Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Job Fair to the graduates. Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization will continue to promote the special action of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original SMEs to carry out "Excellent Enterprises Entering Campus", make good use of Shanghai's online and offline employment promotion platform resources, and guide Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original SMEs to actively participate in various recruitment activities in Shanghai. Furthermore, it will expand the promotion of "small, fast, light and accurate" digital recruitment means, so that enterprises can adopt more digital recruitment forms popular with youngsters such as online interviews and live broadcasts, so as to drive more young people to achieve high-quality employment.

 

This recruitment activity publicized enterprise and job information to the public through multiple platforms, broadened the job hunting channels for graduates, and strived for smooth communication channels between supply and demand. A total of more than 300 employers were attracted to participate in the site, covering multiple key industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence, providing a total of 12,000 positions. At the same time, 1,329 companies provided 42,000 jobs online through video recruitment and direct chat recruitment. More than 6,000 students from colleges and universities in Shanghai participated in the interview, submitted more than 40,000 resumes, and reached preliminary intentions for more than 3,000 people.
