On May 18th, the 26th Dalian International Industry Fair (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian Industry Fair") was successfully concluded at Dalian Free Trade Zone International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year, Shanghai has set up a Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Exhibition Area, bringing together 20 Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original enterprises in Shanghai, including 5 national-level Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original "Little Giant" enterprises such as Aerospace Intelligent Manufacturing and Hehong Electronics, showing Shanghai’s achievements of cultivating and developing key enterprises and high-quality SMEs. During the event, Zhang Xiong, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, led a delegation from Shanghai Municipal People’s Government to tour Shanghai’s Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Exhibition Area. Yang Zheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Cooperation and Exchange Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Rong Zhiqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and First-level Inspector, and others accompanied the tour.
During the visit, Mr. Zhang communicated cordially with exhibitors, listened carefully on the core technologies and exhibit characteristics of enterprises, and encouraged enterprises to seize the opportunity of Shanghai-Dalian cooperation, accelerate their own development, and promote high-quality industrial development. As the first exhibition project of Shanghai-Dalian counterpart cooperation, Dalian Industry Fair has always been highly valued by the governments of Shanghai and Dalian. Since 2017, Shanghai has selected high-tech enterprises in related fields to participate in the exhibition every year to help enterprises in Shanghai and Dalian cooperate, exchange and coordinate development. A total of 35 Shanghai enterprises participated in the Dalian Industry Fair, including 20 exhibitors in Shanghai’s Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Exhibition Area. The Exhibition Area was in line with the theme of the event, namely "Intelligent Manufacturing, Empowerment, and Win-Win", focusing on integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, automobiles and other industries, and showing Shanghai's innovative achievements and breakthroughs in key industries in recent years. Its representative exhibits were rich in variety and full of sense of technology. In addition, this exhibition area set up a service booth for key enterprises in Shanghai, focusing on the service package system for key enterprises in Shanghai, to publicize and display the Service Cloud Platform for Key Enterprises in Shanghai and the service work of key enterprises in Shanghai.
During the exhibition, Leng Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Dalian Municipal People's Government and member of the Party Leadership Group, led representatives of Dalian Municipal People's Government to visit Shanghai’s Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Exhibition Area to learn about the situation of Shanghai exhibitors in this Fair and express their gratitude to Shanghai Municipal People's Government for supporting Shanghai-Dalian counterpart cooperation.
