Shanghai Special Event for Value Innovation and Promotion of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Brands successfully held

 On the occasion of China Brand Day 2024, under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and Huangpu District Government, jointly sponsored by Shanghai Coordination Office for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Shanghai Service Center for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Shanghai Huangpu District Business Committee, Shanghai Enterprise Culture and Brand Research Institute, Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics and Jiefang Daily Cultural Communication Center, "Shanghai Special Event for Value Innovation and Promotion of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Brands" was successfully held. At the meeting, a series of lists of brand value of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Brands in Shanghai were launched, and high-quality development paths of brand enabling enterprises were explored. Prof. Hermann Simon, the father of the world's "invisible champion" and a famous German management scholar, sent a congratulatory video for the release of the lists, encouraging enterprises to move from "Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Brands" to "invisible champion".

 

Shanghai Corporate Culture and Brand Research Institute has made an in-depth interpretation of three special lists, namely the Brand Value List of 2024 Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original "Little Giant" Enterprises in Shanghai, the Brand Value List of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Enterprises in Shanghai and the Most Growing Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Brands in Shanghai. This rating takes high-quality SMEs such as Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Enterprises as the main target group. Through the construction of brand value rating model for SMEs, combined with scientific methods such as data testing and comparative research, the evaluation and compilation of the list are carried out after full deliberation and authoritative demonstration, it is the first provincial brand value lists of Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original Enterprises in China. Manufacturing industry accounts for more than 50% of the enterprises listed in the three lists, the total brand value of Top 100 Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original "Little Giant" enterprises exceeds RMB100 billion, and 35 of Top 100 enterprises in the Brand Value List (excluding "Little Giant" enterprises) have brand value of more than RMB1 billion. SMEs focusing on the three leading industries have shown strong momentum in the list of the Most Growing Brands.

 

Shanghai Municipal Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Development Service Center launched the "Shanghai Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Brand Value Improvement Action", jointly with 13 institutions related to brand promotion work, including Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Economics, Shanghai Municipal Modern Service Industry Federation, Shanghai Municipal R&D Public Service Platform, the National Brand Strategy Research Center of China Normal University, Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Baidu, and JD.com, and signed a contract to facilitate the implementation of promotion actions. All parties will establish a normalized communication mechanism, research and formulate inclusive service plans around the growth needs of enterprises, and build an online and offline integration platform to provide professional services in terms of talent cultivation, technological innovation, digital transformation, marketing, and sustainable development, which will improve service accuracy and effectiveness, help enterprises build superior brands, and polish Shanghai's business card of “Specialized, Refined, Featured and Original" enterprise.
