The 10th China Brand Economy (Shanghai) Forum successfully held

 On the morning of May 10th, the 10th China Brand Economy (Shanghai) Forum was successfully held with the theme of "China Brands, Global Positions". Li Yizhong, President of China Federation of Industry and Economics and former Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the forum and delivered a keynote report. Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government, attended the forum and delivered a speech. Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government, Zhang Ying, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Rui Wenbiao, Director of Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Office, attended the event and launched the Forum Collection "The Power of Brand Growth".

 

Mr. Chen pointed out that Shanghai has a long history of "Shanghai brands" heritage, open atmosphere of the city character and high-end high-quality innovative resources. In the future, it will give full play to the supporting role of the brands in accelerating the construction of new industrialization, grasp the resource endowment, focus on brand efficiency, enhance the high-end supply advantages, and actively explore and promote the industrial culture. It is important to build "Shanghai brands" in line with the global industry trend; grasp the brand empowerment, accelerate the use of AIGC and other new-generation information technologies, help more brands go abroad, build a vibrant brand ecosystem, and better enable high-quality economic and social development.

 

At the forum, Mr. Li made a theme report entitled "Building a High-quality Enterprise System and Creating World-class Enterprise Brands". Dong Mingzhu, Chairman and President of Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances, shared the insight that "Innovation is the soul of a brand". Zhang Jun, Dean of the School of Economics of Fudan University, and Prof. Dominique Turpin, President (European) of China Europe International Business School, respectively brought new insights with "Why is China's innovation always underestimated?" and "The reasons and ways for China to cultivate and develop global brands".
