On the morning of April 30th, under the guidance of Shanghai Industrial Museum's task force for the preparation and promotion, the first collection ceremony of Shanghai Industrial Museum project (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Industrial Museum") was grandly held at Shanghai Exhibition Center. Jiang Yiren, Chairman of the 10th Shanghai CPPCC and Director of the Expert Committee of Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Economics, Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Huang Zhen, Vice Chairman of Shanghai CPPCC, and Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, attended the ceremony and issued collection certificates to 16 representatives. At the collection ceremony, Zhang Ying, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, introduced the progress of Shanghai Industry Museum project. Guan Weiyong, President of Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Economics, announced the first batch of collections. Representatives of Donghao Lansheng Group, China Telecom Shanghai Company and Orient International made speeches.

Building a comprehensive industrial museum that shows the history of industrial development, displays the brilliant achievements of industry, and looks forward to the bright future of industry is the dream of all industrial people, and it is also a practical need to accelerate new industrialization and start the "Made in Shanghai" brand, which is of great significance.
The first batch of collections include the first electric bulb - "Ya" brand incandescent lamp independently developed by China, the permanent brand bicycle marking the starting point of independent design and manufacturing of China's bicycle industry, the Red Light 711 radio, and China's first self-developed 10,000-ton hydraulic press (1:1 model) marking the spirit of "great country craftsmen", totaling more than 70 objects and pictures. Meanwhile, there are also precious graphics and video materials during the construction of the Small Third Line. Through precious industrial collections, Shanghai Industry Museum will lead the public to experience the glorious history of Shanghai’s and even China's industry, witness the unique charm of industrial culture, and stimulate infinite enthusiasm for industrial manufacturing and technological innovation.
Representatives of State Grid Shanghai Electric Power, SAIC Motor, Shanghai Electric, Huayi Group, Shanghai Yidian, Bright Food Group, Shanghai Pharmaceuticals and other enterprises and more than 60 industry associations attended the ceremony.
