On the afternoon of February 22nd, Chen Jining, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, visited Shanghai Mosu Space Innovation Ecological Community for investigation, presided over a symposium of artificial intelligence science and technology innovation institutions and enterprises, listened to opinions and suggestions, and conducted on-site office work.
Shanghai Mosu Space Innovation Ecological Community, which was jointly built and launched by the municipal and the district, is the first professional incubation and acceleration carrier of generative artificial intelligence in China. It has been launched for less than half a year, and nearly 60 enterprises have settled in, and the innovation concentration has been continuously improved. Mr. Chen visited Mosu Space, inspected the service guidelines for helping enterprises and the use of supporting facilities in the service hall, and learned in detail about the five functional platforms such as computing power, data, evaluation, finance and comprehensive services created for the settled enterprises. He had a cordial exchange with the heads of enterprises such as Xinghuan Technology, Wuwexin Dome, Best Smart and Honey Nest, and asked about the latest progress in team formation, technology research and development, product application and business model. He listened carefully to everyone's thoughts and feelings in the settled space, analyzed and reviewed the development trend of artificial intelligence, understood the problems that enterprises need to solve at present, and urged relevant departments and district responsible comrades to make enterprises better "go into battle lightly" and explore the frontier and innovate.
Subsequently, Mr. Chen presided over a research symposium. Heads of regions, institutions and enterprises such as Xuhui District, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Shangtang Technology, Xiyu Technology, Step Star, Zhixiang Future, and Xianyuan Technology talked freely about their thoughts and ideas and suggestions according to their respective development realities. Mr. Chen said that artificial intelligence is an important driving force for the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, and accelerating the development of a new generation of artificial intelligence is a strategic task that needs to be adhered to for a long time. It is necessary to conscientiously implement the requirements of the central government's deployment, closely combine the reality of Shanghai, and make continuous efforts around the industrial ecology and the whole industrial chain with the sense of urgency of waiting for no time and the sense of mission of giving up others. It is necessary to give full play to the main role of enterprises, fully support enterprises to optimize the key points and development directions, continuously strengthen the research and development of general large models and vertical large models, accelerate breakthroughs in underlying technologies, increase innovation in industrial applications, explore business models that can be landed, polish products, make high-quality products, release spillover effects, and better serve high-quality development and modernization.
Mr. Chen pointed out that Mosu Space is an important layout and innovation base for the development of artificial intelligence in the whole city. It is necessary to closely follow the needs of enterprises, continuously optimize and upgrade, and make every effort to build experimental fields and incubators to promote the development of artificial intelligence and the formation of industrial ecology.
