On December 25th, Ge Dongbo, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, visited Ant Blockchain, Pujiang Digital Chain, COSCO Haike, European Metallurgical Service and other enterprises to investigate the progress of blockchain technology innovation and infrastructure construction in Shanghai, and to learn more about the promotion of key application fields such as shipping, logistics and cross-border trade.
Mr. Ge listened carefully to the latest progress made by Ant Blockchain and Pujiang Digital Chain Company in the fields of consensus agreement, intelligent contract, cross-chain platform, private computing and dedicated computing power network, and learned about the specific application of blockchain technology to empower digitalization of shipping trade and cross-border trade of bulk commodities. He pointed out that the world is in a critical opportunity period to accelerate the layout of the next generation Internet ecology, and the importance of blockchain technology has become increasingly prominent. It is hoped that innovative enterprises and industry chain owners in Shanghai will adhere to technology-driven and innovation-led, focus on key areas such as public services, shipping trade, supply chain finance and data circulation, and create a batch of benchmark applications with display, demonstration and leading role. Shanghai will speed up the implementation of Pujiang Digital Chain Project, support the innovative application of various blockchains, and shape new competitive advantages in development.
