At the meetings, the Association added and elected a new batch of member units, director units and vice-chairman units, and elected 4 new vice-chairman units, 7 new director units and 70 member units, covering related head enterprises in the fields of data elements, technology-driven and third-party service providers in Shanghai. System reports such as 2023 Work Report and 2024 Work Plan of Shanghai Digital Business Association, 2023 Financial Report of Shanghai Digital Business Association and Procurement Management System of Shanghai Digital Business Association were reviewed and approved.
Mr. Zhang mentioned that data, as a new factor of production, has become the driving engine for the development of global digital economy. Shanghai Digital Business Association provides a good exchange and cooperation platform for the gathering of digital business ecology in Shanghai. In the new year, first, the Association should be a good representative of the industry with high standards and provide industrial services with high quality, continue to pay attention to industry self-discipline and standardized development, and constantly improve the digital quotient evaluation system. It is also important to grasp the needs of all parties in time, and enhance the overall credibility and recognition of Shanghai’s digital business. Second, it is necessary to unite various forces and give full play to the platform function and supporting role, prepare a "data + industry" special committee to promote the creation of industry-specific data products, and use the Global Digital Business Conference, Open Data Competition and other activities to promote international and domestic data cooperation. And third, we should give full play to the brand effect and be a good disseminator of "Shanghai Data" brand, drive the development of data products to knowledge, branding and specialization, and continue to explore "good enterprises" and "good products" around the “Shanghai Data” branding plan. It is also critical to continue to run branding activities such as digital business salons and data asset seminars.
