On the afternoon of November 16th, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization together with Shanghai Data Group held the launching ceremony of "Pujiang Digital Chain" Blockchain Infrastructure System, which marked a solid step for Shanghai to build a blockchain innovation and development system in all directions and promote the coordinated development of technology, industry, application and ecology. Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, attended the event and launched the blockchain infrastructure of Pujiang Digital Chain. Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, unveiled Shanghai Pujiang Digital Chain Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the main body of the construction and operation of Pujiang Digital Chain. Zhang Ying, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shao Jun, Director of Shanghai Municipal Big Data Center, Wu Jianxiong, Chairman and Zhu Zongyao, President of Shanghai Data Group, and Dong Jin, Director of the National Blockchain Innovation Center, were present.
Ms. Zhang introduced the overall promotion of the "Pujiang Digital Chain" Project in Shanghai, and pointed out that the world is in a critical opportunity period to preempt the layout of the future Internet ecology, and blockchain has become a new focus of international science and technology competition. The "Pujiang Digital Chain" Project will build a major platform for city-level blockchain, improve the incentive and guarantee mechanism for various subjects to build chains, promote the integration and interaction among core technology R&D, infrastructure construction and application scenarios, accelerate the formation of "chain alliance" infrastructure layout, and shape new competitive advantages for the development of Shanghai’s blockchain industry.
"Pujiang Digital Chain" will be built according to the overall framework of "1+1+1+ X", covering computing platform facilities built by independent technologies, public basic service platform, government blockchain application system and X industry-level scenario applications, bearing the application of government chain in Shanghai, and providing rapid deployment capability for multi-agent, cross-industry applications and public services. Through intensive and balanced construction, the infrastructure layout of "chain alliance" with cross-domain platform penetration, multi-chain heterogeneous interoperability, application instant uplink and ecological coordinated development will be formed.
