Recently, the annual exchange meeting of 2023 Italian Design Masterclass was successfully held in Shanghai. Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Tiziana D'Angelo, Consul General of the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai attended the event and jointly launched the Italian Design Map.
Mr. Ruan pointed out that the continuous holding of the Italian Design Masterclass Program has set up a broad platform for promoting talent exchange, school-enterprise cooperation and business exchanges between Shanghai, Milan, Florence and other cities, as well as between China and Italy in the design industry, and provided a good carrier for mutual learning and integration between Chinese and Italian designs. He hoped to continue to facilitate the two-way exchanges between China and Italy, drive the design innovation of the industry, further deepen the diversified cooperation between Shanghai and Italy in various industrial fields, and write a new chapter in the construction of Shanghai's "Design Capital".
The Italian Design Masterclass Program, co-sponsored by Shanghai Design Capital Promotion Center and Italian Foreign Trade Commission, has been held for five consecutive years. The program aims to build a platform for designers and fashion creative brands of the two countries, help Shanghai and Milan, Florence and other cities to deepen exchanges and cooperation among industries, enterprises, universities, talents and other elements, and build a fashion design innovation ecosystem.
Relevant comrades from the Urban Industry Division (Creative and Design Industry Division) of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization attended the event.
