On September 6th, Shanghai Manufacturing Digital Transformation On-site Exchange Meeting and Digital Diagnosis Kick-off Meeting were held in Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone. Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, attended the event and delivered a speech. Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, presided over the meetings.
Mr. Chen pointed out that Shanghai is in a critical period of industrial transformation and upgrading, and it is necessary to strive for the first place and take responsibility in the digital transformation of manufacturing industry, so as to launch the "Made in Shanghai" brand and build a modern industrial system with digital help. First, we must grasp the general trend of the digital age and take advantage of the situation to further enhance the sense of urgency of the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. Second, we must focus on the "four highlights" and improve the "four capabilities" to continuously improve the digital transformation level of manufacturing. And third, strengthen overall planning, coordination and linkage, and form a strong joint force to promote the digital transformation of manufacturing industry.
In recent years, Shanghai has successively issued action plans such as "Digital Transformation of Economy", "Launching 'Made in Shanghai' Brand", "Working in Shanghai" and "Pilot of Smart Factory", taking the lead in laying out the industrial Internet in the whole country, fully releasing the role of digital empowerment, and the digital transformation level of manufacturing industry ranks among the top in the whole country, helping the high-quality development of the real economy.
At the end of last year, Shanghai Municipal Digital Office issued the "Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry in Shanghai", and proposed to focus on the implementation of eight special projects, such as gradient cultivation of "industrial and economic chain owners". The main goal is that by 2025, the digital diagnosis of manufacturing enterprises above designated size in the city will be fully covered, and the proportion of digital transformation will not be less than 80%. The size of Shanghai's industrial Internet core industry reached RMB200 billion. It will create 10 pilot demonstration parks, 20 benchmark intelligent factories, 30 industrial Internet platforms, 40 "industrial chain owners" and 50 super scenes to lead the digital transformation of manufacturing industry in all directions.
In the next stage, Shanghai will focus on the deployment requirements of the implementation plan, adhere to the "one main line" of the deep integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry, and jointly develop the "two aspects" of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, closely following the overall transformation of urban digital transformation, all-round empowerment, revolutionary reshaping of the "three requirements", and promoting the digital transformation of the city's manufacturing industry in a coordinated manner.
At the meeting, the second batch of "Industry Assignment Chain Owners" cultivation enterprises in Shanghai, Top Ten industrial Internet benchmarking platforms in 2022, the first batch of digital diagnosis service providers of 29 regulated manufacturing enterprises in Shanghai, and the "Industry Assignment and Diagnosis System" service platform were officially launched.
