On August 15th, the Commencement Ceremony of Key Industrial Projects for the Fourth Anniversary of Lingang New Area was held. Chen Jinshan, Member of the Standing Committee of Shanghai CPC Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lingang New Area and Director of the Management Committee, attended and announced the commencement of construction, and Liu Ping, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended and delivered a speech.
Mr. Liu congratulated the key industrial projects in Lingang New Area on the centralized construction. He said that Lingang continued to play the role of "growth pole" and "engine" of the city's industrial economic development, and the industrial output value and industrial investment maintained rapid growth. Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization We will further improve the overall coordination of project promotion and enterprise services, unite with relevant departments, strengthen investment attraction, pay close attention to factor agglomeration, consolidate enterprise cultivation, and cooperate with new districts to build world-class frontier industrial clusters such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, artificial intelligence and aerospace.
There are 12 key industrial projects started this time, with a total investment of RMB28.8 billion, covering frontier industries such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, new materials and smart cars, including 2 projects with an investment scale of over RMB10 billion. The landing of key industrial projects will inject strong kinetic energy into the new round of high-quality development of Lingang New Area.
