Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal Government, released D2W Design Shanghai Plan - 2023 Shanghai Fashion Consumption Products Going Abroad Project. Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, delivered a speech and jointly launched "Shanghai Fashion Consumer Goods Industry Ecological Innovation Laboratory" with Zhang Wei, Secretary of CPC Changning District Committee, and Yu Jianyong, President of Donghua University. Xie Li’an, Second-level Inspector of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Liu Min, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and Hu Hao, First-level Inspector of Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Administration, jointly released "Vibrancy of Manufacturing: Shanghai Fashion Consumption Trends in 2023".
D2W Design Shanghai Plan is a new global site for Shanghai’s fashion consumer brands, which empowers the fashion consumer industry by design and promotes more Shanghai local brands to the world fashion stage.
Mr. Wu said that "Made in Shanghai" should not only "collect good products", but also "paint" cutting-edge innovations, "collect" global wisdom and "benefit" thousands of families. Shanghai accelerates the implementation of the "Three Products" strategy and the digital "Three Products" action, focusing on scene construction, characteristic parks and going global of national brands, accelerating the promotion of industrial training, upgrading and strengthening, and striving to better meet people's yearning for a better life with high-quality consumer goods supply.
Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Changning District Government, Donghua University and Taobao Tmall Group took the lead in jointly establishing "Shanghai Fashion Consumer Goods Industry Ecological Innovation Laboratory". Shanghai's fashion consumer goods industry has formed an innovative ecology in which enterprises, platforms, talents, finance and other elements are closely integrated.
At the ceremony, "Vibrancy of Manufacturing - Shanghai Fashion Consumer Goods Trends in 2023" was released. Consumption insight based on big data is an important reference for improving quality and efficiency of Shanghai’s consumer goods manufacturing industry.
