On March 27th, 2023 "Industrial Empowerment in Shanghai" Innovation Conference was held at Hongkou District. With the theme of "Integrating and Linking Digital Intelligence Ecosystem", the conference invited more than 100 experts, scholars and enterprise representatives in the field of industrial Internet to make in-depth discussions on industrial development trends and common key issues, aiming at promoting cooperation between industrial Internet sector and Shanghai in multiple dimensions, building a digital ecosystem of manufacturing industry in the whole field, and launching the brand of "Industrial Empowerment in Shanghai". Qian Feng, Vice Chairman of Shanghai CPPCC and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech. Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal Government, and Wang Peng, First-class Inspector of the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, were present and delivered speeches at the conference. Wang Tianguang, Director of Shangha Municipal Communications Administration, Yu Xiaohui, President of China Information and Communication Research Institute, Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Chen Shuai, Deputy Head of Hongkou District People's Government, attended the conference.
According to the requirements of the “Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry in Shanghai”, by the end of 2025, the full coverage of digital diagnosis of manufacturing enterprises in Shanghai will be completed. This year, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization will start the digital diagnosis of manufacturing enterprises above designated size, and work together with the competent authorities of various districts to promote the digital "prescription" for enterprises. Recently, a series of work is in full swing, including standard setting, platform building and service provider selection. At the conference, the supporting institutions of diagnosis work, standard lead units, service providers and solution providers participated in the launching ceremony.
At the conference, a number of the first batch of "industrial empowerment chain owners" held a pairing ceremony to build a circle and strengthen the chain, which promoted collaborative innovation strategic cooperation in the fields of power industry chain, shipbuilding industry supply chain and auto parts industry supply chain. In the next step, Shanghai will cultivate and incubate more "chain owners" enterprises, increase the driving effect of the array, and drive the deep coordination of industrial chain and supply chain with digitalization. At present, the collection and selection of the second batch of industrial empowerment chain owners is being carried out in an orderly manner.
"Platform + Park" is a new model of industrial integration and development. A number of characteristic industrial parks, such as Oriental Beauty Valley, Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, Large Aircraft Industrial Park and Shanghai Bay Area, are paired with platform partners to continuously promote the overall digital transformation and upgrading of regional industrial clusters and high-quality development. Shanghai will carry out the special program of "100 Towns and 1,000 Parks" for the integration of industrial Internet into the parks, drive the popularization of industrial Internet to the park, and accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
The three major operator corps (China Telecom Advanced Manufacturing Mixed Corps, China Mobile Fully Connected Factory Corps, and China Unicom Equipment Manufacturing Corps) launched a joint initiative to help "Industrial Empowerment in Shanghai", relying on traditional advantages such as 5G cloud network and computing power center, actively planning to explore new advantages in the field of digital transformation of manufacturing industry, and fully participating in the development of new industrialization in Shanghai by deeply participating in digital diagnosis of manufacturing industry, building an industrial Internet public service platform, and creating a digital ecological service circle for small and medium-sized enterprises.
