On February 20th, with the theme of "Computing Network Integration, Wisdom Leading the Future", Shanghai Computing Power Network Forum was successfully held, and many major progress and measures in the field of computing power in Shanghai were released. Tang Wenkan, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the event and unveiled the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Service Platform (SAIPCSP).
In recent years, Shanghai has made great efforts to cultivate new kinetic energy for innovation and development, especially in three leading industries of integrated circuit, biomedicine and artificial intelligence, and the new tracks of four major industries of digital economy, green and low carbon, metaverse and intelligent terminal, which depend on the empowerment and support of computing power network. By building SAIPCSP, providing inclusive computing power and empowering research institutions and artificial intelligence enterprises to make innovation breakthroughs, it will further boost the high-quality development of Shanghai's industry and accelerate the construction of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center.
At the forum, SAIPCSP signed memorandums of cooperation with the first batch of key accounts and partners in the industry to jointly build a computing power network application innovation laboratory, and explore the innovative mode of computing network integration and empowerment in digital medical innovation, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent education and other industrial fields. In addition, a total of 17 related enterprises in the computing power industry jointly launched the Proposal for the Development of Shanghai Computing Power Network, which will help the development of common technologies to form a new industrial development mechanism. This forum gathered experts from domestic academic and industrial circles to conduct in-depth exchanges on related issues such as the integration of computing power networks and the development of new technologies and trends. Sun Ninghui, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Wei Liang, Vice President of China ICT Institute, shared keynote reports via video to seek the new development trend of China's computing power industry.
