On November 29th and 30th, the main forum, sub-forums, industry matchmaking meeting and Selected Major Equipment Exhibition of 2022 International Major Technical Equipment Conference were successfully held at Lingang New Area. With the theme of "Promoting Global Deepening Cooperation and Building Major Equipment Clusters", the Conference aims to build an important cooperation and exchange platform with global coverage, international vision and Yangtze River Delta coordination, and drive the integration and innovation of major technical equipment industries, science and technology, policies, regulations and standards.
At the main forum, Xu Chunrong, Director of the Second Department of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a speech, pointing out that in accordance with the industrial policies of relevant state authorities, combined with high-quality resources of local governments, we should give full play to the role of chain owners, forge “long boards”, supplement “short boards” and strengthen foundations, and promote the high-end, intelligent, green and international development of major technical equipment industry. China Aviation Development Group and China Shipbuilding Corporation will actively play the leading role of "chain leaders", join hands with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to form deep-sea mining equipment ecosystem innovation consortium, offshore LNG equipment ecosystem innovation consortium, ship power ecosystem innovation consortium and green intelligent civil aviation power ecosystem innovation consortium respectively. It will further integrate the superior resources of enterprises, carry out scientific research linkage, promote the deep integration of industrial chain, innovation chain and supply chain, and build an industrial innovation ecosystem with strong endogenous power, high innovation efficiency and innovation achievements.
The main forum attracted a large number of academicians, experts and scholars to explore cutting-edge innovation, exchanges and cooperation in major technical equipment industries. Wu Guanghui, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of COMAC, gave a keynote speech on the development of big aircraft technology. Ban Jian, President of the Science and Technology Research Institute of China Electrical Equipment Group, made a keynote speech on intelligent green innovation and development of electrical equipment. Li Jibao, Dedicated Chief Model Engineer of China Aviation Development Corporation, gave a keynote speech on key technologies of turbofan engines. Fei Long, Chief Expert of China Shipbuilding Corporation and Chief Engineer of 708 Research Institute, addressed a keynote speech on deep-sea mining equipment, and Xu Jun, President of Honeywell Asia Pacific, gave a keynote speech on green aviation technology.
In addition, the Conference also held a Selected Major Technical Equipment Exhibition, and a number of heavy equipment models and physical exhibits appeared one after another, with full highlights and dizzying new products, technologies and achievements. In the field of aviation equipment, there were C919 large passenger aircraft, CJ2000 engine, precision castings of aero-engine rectifier blades, high-end full-motion D-class simulator and high-grade fixed simulator. In the field of marine equipment, it displayed the first domestic 135,000-ton large cruise ship, "Xuelong 2" polar research icebreaker, "Tianjing" heavy self-propelled cutter suction dredger, 174,000M3 dual-fuel low-speed engine propulsion LNG ship, offshore oil 981 deep-water semi-submersible drilling platform and full-rotation counter-rotating propeller. And in the field of electrical equipment, there were 800kV converter transformer, 1100kV three-post insulator and Tokamak nuclear fusion device.
