The data ecosystem is accelerating, the value of data is continuously released, and the digital economy is booming. The Global Data Ecosystem Conference 2022 was launched in Shanghai on November 25th. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, announced the opening of the Conference and the first Data Trading Festival. Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, delivered a speech, and Wang Jiangping, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Chan Cheow Hoe, Chief Data Technology Officer of Singapore Smart Nation Digital Government Office delivered video speeches.
The tide of digital economy is surging along the Huangpu River, and the thriving power of data elements is taking shape. On the occasion of the first anniversary of Shanghai Data Exchange, major demonstration projects of data factor market, such as Shanghai Data Transaction Chain and Digital Asset Cross-chain Mutual Trust Laboratory, were launched in the world. Shanghai Digital Business Association was officially inaugurated. And the construction plan of Zhangjiang Data Factor Industry Cluster and several policies supporting data trading at Pudong New Area were announced. At the Conference, a number of global leaders signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between Shanghai and Singapore on Data Ecosystem and the Strategic Memorandum of International Data Business Enterprises. Shanghai Data Exchange jointly issued the Shanghai Initiative of International Data Circulation Partners with domestic and foreign organizations, and released the Pujiang Consensus on Digital Assets and the Centralized Issuance of Digital Assets.
