The opening ceremony of 2022 International Graphene Innovation Conference was successfully held

On November 19th, the opening ceremony of 2022 International Graphene Innovation Conference (GRAPCHINA 2022) jointly sponsored by Shanghai Baoshan District People's Government, Shanghai University and China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry (CGIA) was held at Baoshan, Shanghai. With the theme of GRAPCHINA 2022 is "Gathering graphene power for a new future”, focusing on the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, international cooperation and industrial chain supply chain, it aims to tell the world the story of Chinese graphene in Shanghai, promote the high-quality innovation and development of graphene industry, comprehensively foster Shanghai to build a world-influential graphene industry innovation highland, and help Shanghai develop and expand its future material industry cluster. Dong Yunhu, Chairman of Shanghai CPPCC, Huang Guoping, Secretary General of Shanghai CPPCC, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Wu Minghong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Vice President of Shanghai University, Li Yichun, Member of National Expert Advisory Committee on New Materials Industry Development and Chairman of China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Chen Jie, Secretary of CPC Baoshan District Committee, Ling Huikang, Chairman of Baoshan CPPCC, and Zhai Lei, Deputy Head of Baoshan District, attended the opening ceremony.

 

Mr. Dong pointed out that graphene is a cutting-edge new material with great development prospects. It is necessary to build a strategic alliance for innovation of new materials, jointly promote key core technology research, persist in facing the forefront of world science and technology and the major needs of the country, and accelerate the formation of more original leading achievements in frontier fields. It is essential to speed up the commercialization of new material innovation achievements, jointly promote industrial linkage development, focus on key fields and products such as graphene composite materials, graphene thermal management materials and graphene films, and build a graphene industrial cluster with world influence. It is also important to strengthen the integrated display of new materials, jointly promote the construction of demonstration bases, continuously expand the development space of high-quality graphene projects, and lead and drive graphene materials to achieve new development and create new advantages.
