The International Biopharma Industry Week Shanghai - Zhangjiang Life Science International Innovation Summit 2022 held

On November 15th, the main forum of the International Biopharma Industry Week Shanghai - Zhangjiang Life Sciences International Innovation Summit 2022 was opened. Zhang Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, attended the main forum of the summit and delivered a speech.

 

Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, including Zhuang Songlin, Chen Kaixian, Zhao Guoping, Ding Jian and Chen Dong, as well as business leaders and scientists from leading enterprises and research institutes, and guests from technology and finance sectors were invited.

 

With the theme of “Gathering Potential and Linking the World", this year’s summit aims to further launch the brand of "Zhangjiang Medicine Valley", gather global factor resources, and plan a new direction for industrial development. During the five-day summit, innovation achievements will be displayed, industrial policies will be publicized, featured parks will be presented, major projects will be landed, future directions will be planned, new forces will be unveiled, planning and layout will be released, and production and medicine will be integrated and docked, both centrally and collectively. 25 forums will drive further industrial transformation and upgrading. Hundreds of industry experts and leaders will come to the summit and talk about the future of the industry.

 

At the main forum, the first "Zhangjiang Life Science Industry New Prominent" awards were released. In the global innovation trading network, facing overseas, the total cross-border transactions of Zhangjiang License from 2015 to 2022 have amounted to nearly RMB210 billion, forming high-density and high-intensity License transactions with the United States, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Facing China, Zhangjiang License transactions account for more than one-third of the domestic total, and 10% of Licenses are circulated within Zhangjiang.
