On August 17th, with the theme of “City digitalization drives integration”, the 2nd Yangtze River Delta City Digital Transformation and Innovation Forum was successfully held during the Symposium of the Main Leaders in the Yangtze River Delta Region.
Focusing on the theme of "City digitalization drives integration", this forum unites the competent government authorities, industry experts and scholars, and digital construction benchmarking enterprises in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui. From the interpretation of macro government policies, the consultation suggestions of the 14th Five-Year Plan to the success stories of digital cities, from the direction of applying new-generation digital technology innovations such as big data, metaverse, artificial intelligence and digital twinning to the construction of "city digital transformation", the event presented lectures, discussions, exchanges, inquiries about difficulties and need matchmaking. It aims at the characteristics and trends of digital cities in the future, continuously drives and promotes the coordination of industrial economy, the integration of social life and the fine standardization of city governance, boost the construction of smart city agglomerations in the Yangtze River Delta, and help the integration and high-quality development of the region.
The forum is guided by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, sponsored by Yangtze River Delta Industrial and Information Development Research Alliance (Yangtze River Delta Branch of Industrial and Information Think Tank Alliance), co-organized by China Unicom (Shanghai) Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. and undertaken by Shanghai Development Research Center of Economy and Informationization.
