The "Made in Shanghai - Good Products Exchange" of "Three Products" National Tour 2022 sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization in conjunction with Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau officially kicked off on July 15th. As an important part of Shanghai's new "3+6" industries, the development of fashion and consumer goods industry is an essential pillar for fully launching Shanghai's "four major brands" and continuously enhancing the city's competitiveness and reputation. With the theme of "New Voice of Manufacturing" and the goal of preheating the consumer market and stimulating citizens' enthusiasm for consumption, this year's “Made in Shanghai - Good Products Exchange” has made great efforts to promote the high-quality development of fashion and consumer goods industry.
The launching ceremony was held on the afternoon of July 15th. Wang Jiangping, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a video speech. Zhang Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, attended and unveiled the event. Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal Government, presented Changning District with the Bronze Medal of "Fashion Capital Construction Demonstration Zone". Furthermore, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau and Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau jointly released the “Action Plan for High-quality Development of Shanghai’s Fashion and Consumer Goods Industry (2022-2025)”.
The fashion and consumer goods industry is included in the key industries of Shanghai's "14th Five-Year Plan" for the first time. Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, together with relevant commissions and authorities, strengthened the top-level design and compiled the “Action Plan for High-quality Development of Fashion and Consumer Goods Industry in Shanghai (2022-2025)”. It focuses on "Eight Products, Three Special Projects and Ten Actions". "Eight Products" refer to clothing, cosmetics, exquisite food, excellent sports products, smart products, good lifestyle products, fine crafts and digital fashion products. “Three Special Projects” involve digital innovation and upgrading, carrier scenario optimization and upgrading, and fashion ecosystem construction. "Ten Actions" cover new sources of scientific and technological research and development, new empowerment of digital manufacturing, new guidance of branding, new layout of industrial carriers, new integration of consumption scenarios, new fashion of traditional Chinese culture, new green and low-carbon track, new support of factor agglomeration, and new certification of fashion products. It aims to accelerate the development of fashion and consumer goods industry, make every effort to launch Shanghai's "four major brands", and help upgrade its soft power. The goal is that by 2025, to achieve an industrial scale of over RMB520 billion, an average annual growth rate of 5%, 10 smart factories of fashion and consumer goods industry, 100 digital application scenarios of fashion and consumer goods industry characteristics, and 1,000 integration scenarios of fashion and consumer goods with shopping, service and culture, so as to establish Shanghai's status as a "fashion capital" that leads fashion and defines trends. It also strives to make Shanghai a place of fashion production, trend gathering, innovation source and consumption leadership.
