Coordinate the development and security of the industrial Internet and build a cybersecurity system in the industrial domain

 On June 17th, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization held the kick-off meeting of Shanghai Industrial Internet Security In-depth Initiative. Zhang Guangming, Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Wang Tianguang, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration, attended the event and addressed speeches.

 

 

Mr. Zhang put forward four suggestions: First, coordinate the development and security and strengthen the awareness of cybersecurity in the industrial domain; second, adhere to systematic thinking and establish a cybersecurity categorization and classification management system; third, highlight service orientation and enhance industrial Internet security capabilities; and fourth, focus on industrial development and improve the level of cybersecurity supply in the industrial domain.

 

Ms. Zhang explained that Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization will conscientiously implement the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, combine it with the Three-year Action Plan of Shanghai's Cybersecurity Industry, continuously build and improve the industrial Internet security system, drive the categorization and classification management of cybersecurity, and guide industrial enterprises to improve their security protection capabilities. It is also important to promote the construction of cybersecurity demonstration projects, lead a number of typical security applications, excellent suppliers and industry solutions, continuously optimize the ecology of industrial development, strengthen policy guidance, innovate supervision methods, and reinforce the synergy between provincial situational awareness platforms and national platform.

 

This In-depth Industrial Internet Security Initiative will be carried out from June to December 2022, including cybersecurity categorization and classification management, policy and standard publicity, resource pool construction, emergency drills, personnel training and other activities.
