With a total investment of RMB565.8 billion, 322 major projects were signed simultaneously - At Invest Shanghai, these significant events were released globally

 On June 16th, Invest Shanghai 2022 and the launch of the "Tides in Huangpu River" Shanghai Investment Global Sharing Season were held at the World Reception Hall on the North Bund. 322 major industrial projects with a total investment of RMB565.8 billion were signed simultaneously, and 48 major industrial projects with a total investment of RMB162.7 billion witnessed centralized commencement. A number of action plans in the fields of new tracks and kinetic energy, featured industrial parks and the “Industrial Map 2022” were released globally. Li Qiang, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the event, announced the centralized commencement of major industrial projects and launched the "Tides in Huangpu River" Shanghai Investment Global Sharing Season. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, read out the list of Shanghai's global investment partners in 2022.

 

 

In order to give full play to the role of investment as an important driving force for economic recovery and revitalization, from mid-June to mid-August, the "Tides in Huangpu River" Shanghai Investment Global Sharing Season will launch 10 series of activities, such as cooperation matchmaking with central enterprises, introduction of new city functions, matchmaking between major projects and financial institutions, development and promotion of national key strategic regions, "online investment", " online signing" and mega project release in various districts, to provide high-quality investment services for enterprises.

 

At the event, four "new track" action plans, including Digital Economy, Green and Low Carbon, Metaverse and Intelligent Terminals, were officially released. Shanghai will seize the emerging opportunities of trillion-level new tracks and strengthen foresight research on new technologies, formats and models. 13 featured industrial parks were officially launched, with the total size of over 40 square kilometers and nearly 6 square kilometers of industrial land available. The “Industrial Map 2022” was also released, showing the current and future industrial maps from two dimensions of space and industry, focusing on 16 districts, 5 strategic areas, 53 featured parks and 35 key industries, and presenting a total of 138 maps.
