At present, Shanghai has entered the stage of restoring normal production and living order. In order to facilitate the citizens to carry out PCR testing nearby efficiently and conveniently, the communication carriers launched the "Full Signal in Shanghai" campaign to test the mobile signal coverage of the normalized PCR testing points across the city, make up for the blind and weak points of the signal quality, and speed up the construction of "15-minute PCR testing service circles".
So far, all carriers have completed the comprehensive screening of more than 10,000 normalized PCR testing points, and brought the mobile network quality of all testing points into close monitoring.
Shanghai Telecom has conducted mobile network quality mapping of massive testing points through big data screening on the network side, combined with AI algorithm and other techniques, and flexibly used antenna feed adjustment, parameter optimization, co-construction and sharing and other means to improve the mobile network quality of relevant testing points.
Shanghai Mobile has completed the network mapping of more than 10,000 PCR testing points, the expansion of more than 1,000 base stations, and the inventory of planned stations to be built around testing points, effectively adjusted 6,000 network parameters, and optimized site load and network coverage.
Shanghai Unicom has adopted MR+MDT data, integrated historical road test and optimized data. The expert group has evaluated the wireless network quality of all normalized PCR testing points, monitored the granularity by hour, dynamically allocated resources and incorporated into focused protection to ensure the excellent signal coverage quality of key places. At present, the overall excellent rate reaches 99.59%.
Shanghai Tower has coordinated the needs of three carriers, made unified planning, promoted collaborative survey, and tested and supplemented the blind points of the mobile signals of normalized PCR testing points. Up to now, 141 construction sites have been started for the special task of "Full Signal in Shanghai".
