On April 26th, the SME Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization held a workshop on resuming work and production of specialized and innovative enterprises, which was attended by eight enterprises including NCATEST Technologies, UNIMOS and Han Technology, as well as four banks including Industry and Commerce Bank of China, Industrial Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank.
The four banks briefly introduced the work done during the epidemic period, including optimizing online services, opening green channels to SMEs greatly affected by the epidemic, expanding credit line multiples, lowering loan interest rates and renewing loans without repayment of principal, which has effectively eased the financial pressure of SMEs.
The workshop also listened to the demands of enterprises for resumption of work and production, capital operation and related issues, and put forward suggestions. The prominent common problems of enterprises mainly include the following: First, there are logistics difficulties, especially the difficulty in transporting imported goods from other provinces and abroad. Second, human resources are limited, and key technical personnel cannot support rotation, which affects the progress of enterprises' resumption of work and production. Third, the inventory is tight. Under the condition of limited external supply, the internal stock is constantly consumed, which cannot support a larger scale of capacity recovery. And fourth, the shortage of funds, long-term inefficient production and even shutdown have caused greater financial pressure on enterprises.
In the face of the impact of the epidemic, the government and enterprises should strengthen their confidence and promote the resumption of work and production. It is necessary to make overall plans and take into account epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development. It is also important to highlight key points and accurately promote zoning and grading efforts. We should pay attention to the pain points and difficulties, and relieve the business pressure of enterprises to the greatest extent.
