Digitalization promotes resilience for Shanghai’s industries
Shanghai has a massive economy and a high degree of industrial concentration. To resume work quickly and safely, it faces more arduous challenges and more complex potential risks. The ideal rate of work resumption in a short time is closely related to the level of industrial digital construction in Shanghai.
On April 16th, the "Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control of Industrial Enterprises Resuming Work and Production in Shanghai" was released, which pressed the start button for the work resumption and production of key industries in Shanghai. On May 13th, the "Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control and Closed-loop Management of Software and Information Service Industry" was issued, and digitalization helps to resume work and production into a new stage.
Digitalization has given resilience to Shanghai's industrial and manufacturing industries, which is showing its advantages in this round of resumption of work and production. Since the launch of the three-year action plan of "Industrial Endowment in Shanghai", informationization, digitalization and intelligence have become the development direction of various industries in Shanghai, especially the application of digital technologies such as 5G, big data and intelligent production lines, which has laid a foundation for Shanghai’s industrial manufacturing enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency and seek growth and transformation.
Digital empowerment system strengthens the ecological support of manufacturing industry
Shanghai Municipal Industrial Internet Association assists the competent authorities in arranging enterprises that have the conditions to resume work and production, and recommends excellent digital products and solutions to help such resumption. Meanwhile, it is also important to step up the construction of the digital empowerment system of Industrial Empowerment® Planet, integrate the key industrial Internet enterprises and products in Shanghai, and help industrial enterprises quickly find their own digital transformation solutions, policies, expert think tanks and other resources. So far, 10 sessions of "Spring Action" of industrial Internet supply and demand docking have been carried out, covering over 50,000 participants.
