First of all, the support of resuming work and production ensures the operation of the city. Power generation and supply, information and communication, water and gas supply, refined oil supply and other links directly related to production and living have operated continuously and stably.
Second, the chain resumption of work has driven and supported the continuous and steady operation of related industries in Shanghai, Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country. Shanghai is an international shipping hub and one of China's manufacturing centers. A considerable number of industries form a strong driving force. Through the traction of leading enterprises, the stability and recovery of a series of industrial chains are supported by points and chains.
And third, the resumption of work and production has also opened up and driven the resumption of operation of the supply and logistics chains. In terms of transportation, under the unified command and coordination of the Leading Group for Logistics Communication and Smooth Work of the State Council, the efficiency of logistics in the Yangtze River Delta region has been significantly improved compared with that at the beginning of the epidemic. In terms of international trade, the monitored import and export value of Shanghai Port in the first half of May was RMB188.6 billion, an increase of 17% from the previous month.
At present, the progress made in resuming work and production is inseparable from the support of a large number of key enterprises as well as the selfless dedication of many front-line employees in closed-loop operation and production and enterprise managers. During the epidemic, they stood up and stuck to their posts to ensure the smooth operation of the city and the stability of the industrial and supply chain. We pay high tribute to them!
