On March 21st, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, visited Shanghai GeneoDx Biotech Co., Ltd. to investigate the development and application of COVID-19 quick test products.
Mr. Wu reviewed the production site and exhibition hall of the company, listened to its historical evolution, product technology, production scale and development plan, and focused on the progress of COVID-19 quick PCR test products of Shanghai Genesc Biotech Company Limited, a subsidiary of Shanghai GeneoDx Biotech Co., Ltd. Mr. Wu said that Shanghai is facing a complicated and severe challenge at present, and thanked the company for its contributions to PRC test in Shanghai. He pointed out that COVID-19 quick test products are fast and convenient, and have great application potential in large-scale detection places such as hospitals, disease control and transportation hubs, as well as small-scale scenarios such as enterprises, schools and communities. It is hoped that the company will speed up the development and application of related products and make positive contributions to COVID-19 prevention and control as well as people's lives and health. The Commission will do its best to provide enterprise services and be a "gold medal servant" for businesses.
