In order to implement the spirit of the Economic Work Conference of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, promote the central SOEs in Shanghai to better integrate into Shanghai's economic and social development around their main businesses, and do their best to start next year, Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. for investigation on December 23rd.
At Gaoqiao Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Mr. Shen learned about the company's safe production operation in the production dispatching command center, visited the corporate culture exhibition hall, and listened to the company's innovation achievements and party-building work. At the meeting, Wang Jingyi, Party Secretary of Gaoqiao Petrochemical Co., Ltd., introduced the achievements of party building, production and operation of the company this year and the economic work plan for the first quarter of next year. Mr. Shen pointed out that Gaoqiao Petrochemical Co., Ltd. insists on high-quality party building and promotes high-quality development, which has made important contributions to Shanghai's economic and social development. He hoped that the company will make persistent efforts on the basis of this year's achievements, systematically plan the work in 2022, and strive for a "good start" in the first quarter. At Shanghai Power Construction Co., Ltd., Mr. Shen learned about the project progress of Minhang Gas Turbine Power Plant and Huaneng Shidongkou Power Plant, the energy supply guarantee in Shanghai, and their projects in the Belt and Road Initiative, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta. At the meeting, Jiang Lindi, Party Secretary of Shanghai Power Construction Co., Ltd., introduced the company's annual operation and achievements in party building. Mr. Shen pointed out that Shanghai Power Construction Co., Ltd. actively practices the national strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative. Based in Shanghai, it has made contributions to serving the Yangtze River Delta and the whole country and represented a good image of central SOEs in Shanghai. It is hoped that the company will give full play to the characteristics of party building, integrate the main business, deepen close cooperation with Shanghai’s SOEs, deeply integrate into Shanghai's economic and social development, and contribute to the construction of five new towns in Shanghai. It is also expected that the company will complete the construction of relevant power projects in Shanghai on schedule and continue to make greater contributions to assured energy supply.
