On the morning of November 10th, Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, led a team to Chongming for special investigation and discussion on industrial economic development and digital transformation. Li Zheng, Secretary of CPC Chongming District Committee, Miao Jing, Head of Chongming District, and Xu Huiquan, Member of the Party Group of Chongming District Government, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Chongming District Economic Commission and Chongming District Science and Technology Commission respectively introduced the industrial economic development and urban digital transformation at Chongming District. In recent years, Chongming has made full use of its ecological advantages, constantly consolidated the foundation of industrial development, accelerated the digital transformation, and signed agreements to introducing a number of digital entity projects including cloud computing and block chain. In particular, taking the successful bid to host the 10th China Flower Expo as an opportunity, it has comprehensively driven the rapid promotion of economic and social development, and accumulated strong potential energy for the high-quality development of its ecological island construction to achieve a new leap.
Before the meeting, the research team visited the Chongming District Planning Exhibition Hall and listened to the development process of Chongming and the construction of the ecological island.
