On August 19th, organized by Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the first Organizing Committee meeting was held for the selection of "Smart Craftsmen" and "Leading Pioneers" in Shanghai's urban digital transformation in 2021. Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, Zhou Qi, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and responsible persons of organizers and sponsors of these events attended the meeting.
This year's selections of "Smart Craftsmen" and "Leading Pioneers" will closely follow the research and development of major projects, focus on cutting-edge technologies, key core technologies, "neck-stuck" problems and industrial common technologies, and select a group of "skilled craftsmen" and "leading pioneers" with ingenuity and Shanghai strength in the digital transformation and development of Shanghai, so as to jointly achieve the goal of building Shanghai into an international digital capital with world influence. This year's competition consists of three units, namely Information Innovation Application Test Competition, Intelligent Algorithm Competition and Urban Digital Transformation Practice Scheme Competition, which have made further explorations in practicality and innovation.
