On the morning of July 21st, the special promotion meeting of "Crossing the digital gap: Aging-friendly and accessible transformation of Internet applications" was held. Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Chen Mingbo, Deputy Secretary-general of Shanghai Municipal Government presided over the meeting, which discussed the aging-friendly and accessible transformation of Internet applications in Shanghai.
The meeting pointed out that "Shanghai Digital Partnership Program" should be pushed forward in depth. First, by the end of this year, the aging-friendly and accessible transformation of 66 government websites, 47 apps and 23 key corporate apps listed in the transformation list should be completed 100%. Second, the application scenario of "push-to-talk for the aged" should form a demonstration benchmark and be popularized and used throughout the city. And third, the community training of "information helpers" should hold more than 100 large training workshops, "digital experience officers" should enter more government departments and enterprises, and there should be more than 300 offline service "micro-sites". And relying on universities for the elderly, libraries and community centers, we will build relevant experience scenes and connect with enterprise service resources, so that the elderly can have more immersive live experiences.
