In order to implement the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Symposium on Solidly Promoting the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta, carry out the work arrangement of the Main Leaders' Symposium in the Yangtze River Delta Region, and accelerate the coordinated development of integrated circuit, biomedicine and artificial intelligence industries in the region, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization carried out the research on the Implementation Plan for the Coordinated Development of Three Major Industries in the Yangtze River Delta earlier. In order to further deepen the research work, on June 29th, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization held a seminar, attended by Wu Jincheng, Chairman of the Commission, and Ping Liu, Vice Chairman.
Mr. Wu pointed out, that the research of this topic should closely focus on the mission entrusted to Shanghai by the state, give full play to the leading role, linkage Yangtze River Delta, and focus on three articles of "What is there", "What is missing" and "What to do". It is essential to cooperate with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces to explore a set of scientific and reasonable coordination mechanism that takes into account all parties, integrates innovation and create linkage. It is necessary to cultivate and build a benign and high-quality development ecosystem of three major industries with orderly industrial division of labor, effective resource allocation and smooth factor circulation within the Yangtze River Delta, to actively play a greater role, contribute more wisdom and gain greater achievements in building a world-class industrial cluster of these industries.
