On the afternoon of June 8th, the 30-day countdown to the World Artificial Intelligence Conference2021 and the partnership press conference were held at the conference room of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall, and the registration channel for the audience and media of the conference was opened, which marked that this year's conference had entered the final stage. Wu Jincheng, Executive Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee Office of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and leaders from Pudong New Area, Xuhui District, Donghao Lansheng Group and Shanghai Radio and Television Station attended the event.
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2021 is co-organized by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Internet Information Office, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Association for Science and Technology and Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The conference will be held from July 8th to July 10th this year in a combination of online and offline. The main venue will continue to be at Pudong World Expo Center, completed by venues at Xuhui and other districts. The exhibition is located at the Expo Exhibition Hall and will be open one day earlier on July 7th.
On the same day, a volunteer flag-giving ceremony was held, and Ding Bo, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee, presented the flags to the volunteer representatives. This year's volunteers not only come from major universities and colleges in Shanghai, but also include white-collar youth from enterprises.
