In order to celebrate the centenary of CPC and welcome the Youth Day, on April 12th, the Commission system held a forum for the selected students on the theme of "Learn the history of the Party to meet the Youth Day". Yang Jiaying, Deputy Director of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shen Jun, CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, were present and made speeches. Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, presided over the forum.
Ms. Yang Jiaying fully affirmed the training of the selected students of the Commission system and hoped to make joint efforts with the Commission to actively build the "golden brand" of Shanghai. It is expected that these selected students will cherish the great opportunity of Shanghai's development, realize great achievements with practical actions and become an important force to drive Shanghai's industrial development.
Mr. Shen Jun encouraged us to take the learning and education activities of the Party history as an opportunity, further strengthen the ideals and beliefs, cultivate the commitment to serve people, constantly reinforce skill training, enhance the abilities of officers, continuously highlight accountability, bear the important responsibilities of the times, show the spirit of the Commission and promote the positive energy of youth.
Wu Jincheng combined with his own growth journey and hoped that the selected students could improve their Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Adversity Quotient, strengthen their abilities of dialogue, coordination and implementation, cultivate new thinking of market, management, united front and Internet, and contribute to a new round of Shanghai’s industrial development.
Since 2015, the Commission system has combined the selection and transfer of excellent university graduates with the improvement of the structure of the cadre team, and the ability construction of selected students with the development of Shanghai’s advantageous industries and strategic emerging industries and cultivated a young and capable team of selected students through independent research and participation in major municipal projects. During the forum, seven representatives of the selected students talked about their work and life experiences around the study of the Party history and looked forward to their goals in combination with their work priorities. They unanimously expressed that they should further strengthen the study of the Party history and firm their ideals and beliefs. They will never forget their original intention, live up to the times and high expectations, and strive to create a new miracle of Shanghai's industrial development.
