On the morning of April 7th, 2021 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference was held at Shanghai Tower. 216 major industrial projects with a total investment of RMB489.8 billion were signed. “Five new towns”, a number of special industrial parks and private enterprise headquarters clusters have recruited global investment. This is another important step for Shanghai to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping for Shanghai's work and to build a new development pattern, implement the new development concept and serve the new layout based on the new stage.
Li Qiang, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the conference and witnessed the signing of the projects. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, launched Shanghai Global Business Partner Program.
