On March 16th, the first working meeting of energy security group of the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) led by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization was held. Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, was present. Members of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Housing and Urban Rural Construction Management Committee, Shanghai Water Authority, Shanghai Power Company, Shanghai Chengtou Water Group, Shanghai Gas Company and (National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), attended the meeting.
After conveying the spirit of the 4th China International Import Expo from Shanghai Municipal Government on March 12th and listening to the plan preparation of member units as well as the next step report, Mr. Zhang put forward four requirements for energy security of CIIE. First, improve our political position, enhance the overall situation awareness, and fully understand the importance and particularity of energy security work in the 4th China International Import Expo; Second, according to the general requirements of "getting better", it is important to make full use of digital achievements to make energy security more reliable and effective. And third, take "improve the whole city, optimize the surrounding areas, and ensure the core" as the general goal, carefully organize, coordinate, and comprehensively promote, so as to ensure that everything is safe; Fourth, consolidate good practices and form a set of norms and mechanisms for energy security work in major events.
