On the afternoon of March 16th, Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, met with Zhang Yi, Secretary of CPC Baoshan District Committee, and his team. The two parties exchanged views on the scene construction and goal planning of Baoshan’s digital transformation.
Ms. Zhang fully affirmed the achievements of Baoshan District in promoting digital transformation and put forward three suggestions. First, plan "one feature for one district". Relying on the good manufacturing foundation of Baoshan and combining with its own industrial characteristics, it is necessary to formulate characteristic strategies, create characteristic landmarks, build characteristic scenes and plan special policies. Second, adhere to the problem orientation, implement the concept of "digital services for development", aim at the "high frequency and urgent" problems in the three major fields of economy, life and governance, and do a good job in the layout planning of digital transformation. And third, improve work promotion mechanism and strengthen urban linkage as well as work coordination. The Commission will make greater efforts to support the work of all districts and solidly promote the work of urban digital transformation.
