On the afternoon of March 10th, through several video channels, the mobilization meeting of Party history study and education in the system of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization was held, which deeply mobilized the system to carry out Party history study and education. Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, presided over the meeting and made a mobilization speech. Wu Jincheng, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, conveyed the spirit of the mobilization meeting for the study and education of Party history, and deployed the work related to the systematic study and education of Party history. Xu Jiangang, Executive Vice President of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Party School, made a report on the guidance entitled "Learn the history of the Party and keep in mind the mission of the beginning".
Ms. Shen pointed out that it is important to thoroughly study and understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, fully understand the great significance of carrying out the education of Party history learning, firmly grasp the core meaning, strengthen the responsibility, organize and carry out Party history learning and education with high standards and high quality. First, study materials carefully, study by topics, fully tap the revolutionary stories and advanced characters of the units in industry, and always bear in mind the glorious process. Second, make unremitting efforts to arm our minds with the latest achievements of the Party's innovative theory, the historical achievements, changes in the cause of the Party and the state since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. What’s more, it is important to arm our minds with the latest achievements of the Party's innovative theory during our work in industry and informatization in Shanghai, as well as the ideology and work practice of Party members and cadres. Third, take people's yearning for a better life as our goal, and earnestly implement the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly. Fourth, turn the achievements of learning and education into powerful measures to promote the work, and strive to take the first step in the development of the "fourteenth five-year plan" and see a new atmosphere.
Ms. Shen stressed that the leaders should play a leading role in the study, set good examples, devote themselves to research, integrate knowledge with practice, organically combine the process of learning party history with the process of understanding ideas, organically combine the process of learning the Party's history with the process of thinking, doing practical work and opening up new situations. It is important to make more outstanding achievements in solving problems, promoting work, promoting reform and benefiting people's livelihood. We should also write a new chapter in promoting the high-quality development of industry and the digital transformation of the city, and celebrate the centenary of the Party with outstanding achievements.
