On March 4th, the Commission system held a forum to commemorate the 111th Anniversary of the International Women's Day. Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Weng Wenlei, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Women's Federation, were present, and awarded honorary certificates to the individual and group winners of the National Woman Pace-setters, the National Women's Civilization Posts and the Women's Meritorious Models. The honored representatives from all units of the Commission system attended the forum.
Mr. Shen put forward three hopes for women cadres and workers in the system. First, improve political standing, unswervingly follow the Party, and take practical actions to welcome the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Party. Second, learn the spirit of model and make contributions based on our posts. It is necessary to take the implementation of "three tasks", strengthening "four functions", promoting the digital transformation of the city and the construction of "five new towns" as the big stage to show the elegant demeanor of women, make good use of the exhibition platforms such as the World Expo, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, and China International Industry Fair (CIIF), and give full play to the strength of the list and make a difference. And third, love life and set up the style of women in the new era. It is a must to actively participate in the main battlefield of economic informatization, overcome difficulties, strive to be the first, and support the industry and informatization.
Mr. Weng, on behalf of Shanghai Women's Federation, congratulated the individuals and collectives who were commended and highly affirmed the outstanding contributions of women comrades in the Commission system. He hoped that everyone would continue to focus on promoting the high-quality development of industry and information technology, carry forward the spirit of "three tops", base themselves on their posts, work hard and innovate, and make new achievements with the passion and courage of learning and catching up. He also hoped that the women's working committee of the Commission would make persistent efforts to successfully hold the Women's Elite Forum of the 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
At the meeting, four comrades made speeches, including Zhang Yuhua from Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, Wu Xiaohong from Shanghai East China Dhipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., the National Women Pace-setter and the National Women's Construction Work Model, Xiao Qing from Shanghai branch of China Telecom, the winner of the 11th Women Innovation Award of Shanghai and Shanghai Women Pace-setter, and Zhu Yiye, Sales team leader of Shanghai Electric Power Company. Sun Fengqin, Director of No.4 Analysis Workshop of Shanghai Petrochemical Quality Management center, read out the proposal.
