On the afternoon of February 18th, Rong Zhiqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the Investment Promotion Conference and Launching Ceremony of Major Projects at Baoshan District. Chen Jie, Secretary of CPC Baoshan District Committee, and Gao Yiyi, District Governor, were present.
At the conference, Mr. Rong and relevant leaders issued the appointment certificates to the first supervisors of business environment optimization at Baoshan. The conference launched the first batch of major projects, offered the first industrial support funds, hired the first Investment Promotion Ambassadors of Baoshan, and recognized the Advanced Investment Promotion Units in 2020. Representatives of Baowu Group, Lingang Group and Quicktron made on-site presentations. The conference released "Ten Innovative Measures to Further Optimize the Business Environment at Baoshan District", including the realization of "one-stop licensing on the same day", the implementation of "enterprise life cycle" support policy, and the execution of "land acquisition and construction" approval of four certificates issued at the same time.
A total of 30 major projects were launched at Baoshan, with a total investment of RMB20 billion. These projects focus on two important industrial parks of Nanda Smart City and Wusong Innovation City, involving industrial functions, improvement of people's livelihood and infrastructure. Among them, Nanda Science and Technology Oasis, Integrated Stainless Steel Plot Industry Project, Guosheng Biomedical Industrial Park, Baoshan Robotics Innovation Port Project and other high-quality projects with high energy level, large scale and strong driving force will be completed and put into operation, which will vigorously promote Baoshan's global adjustment, transformation and upgrading, industry city integration and innovation development, as well as emerging industry cluster development, and accelerate the implementation of the global high-tech innovation strategy, which will provide strong support for the expansion of Baoshan's industrial investments.
