On January 26th,Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, visited Shanghai Center for Education Technology for research on digital transformation in education. The team listened to the introduction of the work on promoting digital transformation from relevant divisions, units, universities, and enterprises. Li Yongzhi, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, was present.
During the research, Mr. Wu affirmed the progress of digital transformation in the field of education. He stressed that digital transformation in the field of education is an important part of urban digital transformation. First, it is important to thoroughly implement the general requirements of "holistic transformation, all-round empowerment and revolutionary remodeling" of urban digital transformation in Shanghai. Second, according to the path of "cross-sector top-level design, integration of technology and business, focusing on replicability and promotion", it is necessary to comb and constructs representative application scenarios. And third, it is essential to make good use of "united front thinking, Internet thinking and market thinking" to promote the transformation and development of education.
