On the morning of January 18th, Fu Xinhua, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited Shanghai Zhaoxin Company for research and attended the opening ceremony of CPU R&D Center and headquarters site. Relevant leaders of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM), Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission(SASAC), Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission, Office of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center and Pudong New Area were present at the opening ceremony.
Mr. Fu pointed out in his speech that general-purpose processor is the core technology in the field of integrated circuits. It is hoped that Shanghai Zhaoxin will seize the current strategic opportunity, focus on the research and development of core products, and accelerate the market promotion of mature products.At the same time, it is important to further develop targeted products for different application fields to drive the development of Shanghai's electronic information industry.
