On the morning of November 17th, the 8th Advanced Manufacturing Industry Conference 2020 with the theme of "Integration, Empowerment and Transformation" was held at Jiading District, Shanghai. The conference held the launching ceremony of Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Investment Fund (Phase I), which targets to raise RMB3 billion andfocuses on intelligent manufacturing, smart city and high-end equipment. It will innovate the new integration model of intelligent manufacturing industry and finance, guide social capital into high-end equipment industry, and promote the high-quality development of Shanghai’s intelligent manufacturing.
At the conference, Jiading District released 19 featured industrial parks, including 3 municipal featured parks and 16 district-level parks. The signing ceremony of major industrial projects was held, with a total investment of more than RMB10 billion, covering hydrogen fuel vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, integrated circuits and robots. CCID Consulting Co., Ltd. and CCID (Shanghai) Advanced Manufacturing Industry Research Institute released the "Development Index of China’s Advanced Manufacturing Industry". The index is composed ofUrban Development Index and National Park Development Index, which scientifically and comprehensively evaluates of the development of China's advanced manufacturing industry. Shanghai has ranked the first in China for three consecutive years.
Aiming at the important industries and key fields of manufacturing industry development, the conference set up six special forums, namely New Four Modernizations Forum for Automobile, Advanced Manufacturing Industry Cluster Forum, Intelligent Manufacturing Practice and Talent Training Forum, Intelligent Manufacturing Planning Forum, New Technology Enabled Manufacturing Industry Integration and Development Forum and Yangtze River Delta Internet of Things Sensory Computing Integration Forum.
