Wu Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, visited the headquarters of some central SOEs in Beijing

      On the morning of September 23th, Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai, visited the headquarters of three central SOEs, including China National Offshore Oil Corporation, State Development & Investment Corporation, and China Electronics Corporation, in Beijing with his team for research on the work related to the deepening of strategic cooperation between the municipal government and central SOEs, and learnt about the industrial development of central SOEs in Shanghai. Rong Zhiqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Tao Changsheng, Chief Economist of Shanghai Municipal Financial Regulatory Bureau, were present.

 

      Mr. Wu thanked three central SOEs for their contributions to the economic and social development of Shanghai. He pointed out that at present, Shanghai is comprehensively implementing the "three new major tasks" delivered by the central government, accelerating the construction of "five centers", strengthening "four functions", and striving to build the strategic links of the central node of the domestic and international double cycles. It is hoped that SOEs and Shanghai will work together to serve the new development pattern and jointly boost the high-quality development of Shanghai industry. Mr. Wu stressed that SOEs in Shanghai are an important force in economic and social development, especially in the work of "six stabilities" and "six guarantees". The Commission will continue to do a good job in optimizing the business environment and make Shanghai a "hot land" for the prosperity and development of various types of enterprises.

      Mr. Rong expressed that the Commission will do its best to be an "assistant" for the development of central enterprises in Shanghai, and strive to become a "bridge link" for communication and coordination between central SOEs and various government departments in Shanghai, timely coordinate the difficult needs of enterprises in Shanghai development, ensure the early implementation of major industrial projects, and better serve the development of the real economy.
