On June 23rd, Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, visited Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology for research on promotion of intelligent manufacturing. The team visited automatic production workshop and test base of Shanghai Satellite Equipment Research Institute and Shanghai Aerospace Equipment Manufacturing Corporation and listened to the report of relevant directors of the Research Institute on promoting intelligent manufacturing, technology research and market development.
Mr. Zhang affirmed the work of Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology in building the innovation system of space technology industry and promoting the demonstration application of intelligent manufacturing. He pointed out that first it is important to attach importance to the research and development of key technologies in the field of aerospace, keep the bottom line of self-control of domestic core components, and lead the development direction of aerospace technology. Second, it is necessary to further promote the demonstration application of unmanned factory, and further improve the production efficiency and shorten the R&D cycle through the digital and intelligent transformation of the production and testing workshop. And third, it is a must to give full play to the leading role of the industry, export good technology and equipment based on market demand, and promote the booming of civil aerospace industry. It is hoped that Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology will continue to forge ahead, take the mission of "creating human aerospace civilization and building a monument of national science and technology" to provide more powerful support for the development of China aerospace industry.
