On July 2nd, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited Sinopharm Group for research. The team listened to the introduction of the company on its operation and development, the "14th Five-year Plan" and the Party building work.
Mr. Lu pointed out that a number or companies under Sinopharm Group had formed a complete industrial chain from R&D, manufacturing to sales in Shanghai, which had promoted and stabilized the high-quality development of Shanghai’s biomedical industry and ensured the supply of pharmaceutical market. During the period of epidemic prevention and control, Sinopharm Group has exerted its advantages in logistics channels and sales network that can reach the whole country, and spared no efforts to support the important materials and equipment in Shanghai and Hubei anti epidemic frontlines, which embodied the responsibility of SOE and made important contributions to the war of epidemic prevention and control in an all-round way. It is hoped that the group will further implement the requirements of normalization of epidemic prevention and control and continue to provide material support for external defense input and internal anti rebound. It is also hoped that the company, in combination with the development of the "14th Five-year Plan", give full play to the advantages of SOE, further improve the level of innovation and research, the ability of resource convergence, the ability of talent gathering and the level of cross-border cooperation, tap the development potential in the field of health, meet the needs of the people, serve the whole country, and create a highland reflecting the core competitiveness of Shanghai in the international competition. Last but not least, it is hoped that the group can deeply understand the importance of Party building work in the new era, further implement the "four responsibilities and coordination" mechanism of strict governance of the Party, better play the role of grassroots Party organizations as a fighting fortress, continue to strengthen the close linkage between local subsidiaries and local communities, and integrate into local development. Relevant divisions of the Commission will take the initiative to connect services and boost enterprises to become bigger and stronger.
