On June 12th, Yang Zheng, Executive Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Government Agencies, visited the Commission for research and guidance. The team listened to the work report of the Commission on promoting the epidemic prevention, economic and social development, driving the resumption of work and production, developing new machinery and opening new Bureau, as well as improving the quality of Party construction of the institutions. The team also visit Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Island. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Ma Liejian, Deputy Secretary, warmly received Mr. Yang and his team.
Mr. Lu expressed his gratitude to Shanghai Municipal Working Committee for its long-term care and guidance. He introduced that the Commission conscientiously implemented the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the central and work conference on Party construction and the spirit of the important speech during his inspection of Shanghai. He also introduced the decision making and deployment of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee on Party construction, and indicated that it is important to strive to build a "model office" and push the party construction in the forefront of municipal offices.
Ms. Ma focused on the implementation of the tasks on the center, building the team and serving the masses. She expressed that it is a must to give excellent answers in strengthening and resolutely implementing the political consciousness of "two safeguards", in giving full play to the fighting fortress of the Party branch as well as the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members, and in improving the ability of "two victories".
Mr. Yang attached great importance to the Party construction of the Commission and affirmed the hard work and achievements in the production guarantee of anti-epidemic materials, the promotion of production resumption and the development of new machinery. He pointed out that the work of the two Commissions plays an important role in the overall situation of the work of the city, and the Party building of Offices plays a very important role in the work of the whole commission. In recent years, the Commissions have promoted the Party construction with the economic and social development, carried out a lot of effective exploration and created many good experiences. It is hoped that the Commission would make further efforts and make new achievements.
Mr. Yang also pointed out that at present, it is necessary to guide Party members and cadres through profound and effective education to remember the history and original intention, to turn the achievements of learning and education into the driving force for "double victories" in epidemic control as well as economic and social development, and to continue to take the lead in striving to create a new miracle in the new era of Shanghai.
